Bitcoin and Lightning for Commerce

Attend this session to learn what the Lightning network is, why it exists, how it works, and various ways it can be used in commerce. This session will include a demonstration of how lightning channels and routing works. You will also be introduced to Lightning concepts and tools such as channel balancing and watchtowers. We will also discuss a wide variety of tools that can be used to enable Lightning commerce, BTCPay Server, and Lightning point of sale systems.

What will students learn?
Lightnings potential impact on commerce and how to enable Lightning for your businesses.

This session is appropriate for professionals and developers who have a basic understanding of Bitcoin.

Prerequisite: a basic understanding of Bitcoin
